Just wanted to say a quick hello and tell you all that I am back home from surgery Feb.11th. The surgery itself went very well. Instead of finding the one stricture they found three! They removed part of my cecum, terminal ileum, valve and appendix. Hospital stay was a bit longer than expected due to a high fever for a few days, which resolved itself without complications thank goodness. I get the staples out tommorrow and see the surgeon for f/u in 3 weeks. Thank goodness for all the family support I have and a wonderful husband and boys, because it sure is hard to move around. Each day I feel that bit stronger. Thanks for all of your advice before I went in the hospital and the future questions coming! Talk to you soon.

I'm glad you are home and recovering well.  It sounds like we had pretty much the same surgery.  I'm six weeks out at this point and feeling pretty good, so stay positive.  Let's hope to a new life for both of us!  Cheers!!
