Hi all, I am a bit desperate at the moment.  I have been having some serious pain since Christmas.  Started as dull ache in the URQ and pain between the breasts.  I thought it was GERD, as I have suffered for years.  Constipation and the big "D" have alternated for years as I also have IBS.  For the past couple of weeks, the pain has intensifed and moved a bit.  I still expereince URQ pain but also burning all around my navel and lower.  Eating is not something I want to do but I make myself.  For the past two days, I've had yellow #2 in the "d" form.  It burns as it passes.  I've had my gallbladder removed.  I just feel really bad.  Lazy and tired.  I recently had a full bloodwork up and all was normal except my sed rate was elevated.  I've also been having strange jaw pains.  And my arthritis is killing me in my fingers and hips.  My GI is stumped and I go on Friday for Abdom. and pelvis CT and upper endoscopy.  Anyone have any thoughts.

Hi Kristie,

I think that the most important thing is that your doctors know about your problems, and are investigating.

Some of the other members may have a different attitude, but I feel that it can be unhelpful to second-guess doctors. We don't have specialist knowledge, and can come to very dire conclusions about what our problems may or may not be. Perhaps it would be best just to have your tests on Friday, and see what the doctors say afterwards.

I'm sorry you're in so much pain. Are the doctors helping you at all with pain management?

You say you're eating - what sort of things are you consuming? We might be able to help you ease the burning a bit.

It's good to meet you,

PS. Are you on any medications?

I'm sorry you are feeling so poorly ( BTW, Welcome to HealingWell!) but until a full work up has been done with you by a qualified doctor/medical team, it might be counterproductive to suggests a diagnosis. Don't try it yourself either!
Yes, you could have CD. You could also have a kidneystone, Colitis (UC) or about 50 other things. At this point in time, I'd be more concerned with symptom relief.
