Hi Dave,
I noticed from another post that you have Scleritis.  I was diagnosed with it about a week ago and my doctors have decided to have me see a Rheumatologist.
Anyhow, how long can you have it and not treat it before it starts to do damage, do you know?  My Internist and Opthamologist are not treating it yet--I think they want me to see the Rheumatologist and get their opinion.  I will not see the Rheumy until next month and my eye hurts and seems to be getting worse.
I am on Acular for the pain but I worry that nothing is treating the disease itself.
Thanks Dave or anyone who can help me with this!

Acular is an NSAID it will help reduce the inflamation in your eye. Your rhuemy will probably put you on pred-forte to reduce the inflamation more quickly.

Here is the depressing thing and I should have mentioned this earlier, I have been on Pred-Forte for literally months now and it is not helping.  Sadly, it didn't help out a whole lot when all I had was Episcleritis.  sad

I honestly feel like I could cry!  I am so scared of losing my sight!
