my question is are there any crohn's disease sufferers out there who are unable to break the nicotine addiction despite the fact that smoking is detrimental to the disease?
also is it normal to experience nausea continually throughout the day while taking 6-MP? Have been taking
6-MP for about a month and the doctor said all my bloodwork numbers are normal. I'm considering telling my doctor that I want to try something new, but was wondering if this passes in time.
just a little background: two months ago I had a foot of my small intestine removed and having a slow recovery.

I've had no side effects with 6mp, but nausea is fairly common . . . many posters here have reported good luck taking it at night rather than in the morning.

yes, I smoke, I keep "practicing" quiting, to no avail....thinking of the nicotine lollipops our compounding pharmacy has here in town, soon...they've been developing them for several years... good luck to you, I also forced all of us smokers to go outside with them, if we 'really' want it, we'll brave the cold won't we?!? I'm not currently on anything specific for crohns yet, results come in to confirm the dx, the 18th of this month, then we'll get me going...lots of options out there, as I've seen from forums...cheers!
currently rediagnosed with probable crohn's disease with IBS with d...need blood test? Had the Prometheus serology 7 blood test done, now get results 18th of this month (Mar./08)
