Th green diarhea could be caused by something you ate or drank.   I drink alot of strawberry/watermelon gatorade and it always turn my poop a lovely shade of bright green.  I don't think its anything to be concerned with.  And I think the reason we have such a hard time with our periods is because of the inflammation in our intestines, just kinda aggravates everything.

Been living with Crohn's Disease for 32 years.  Currently on Asacol, Prilosec 60 mg, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain and Calcium.  Resections in 2002 and 2005.  Recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and doing tests to see if I have Inflammatory Arthritis or AS.

Hmmm. . . I'd be a bit wary of green D. If it's bright, neon green it could be bile. Of course, that would probably have nothing to do with you period. But it's worth calling the doc and checking it.

My iron supplements make my D a lovely dark green. And I have always had an increase in symptoms at period time. I think most female CDers do. I blame the hormones.

Periods are horrible with CD. Somebody just shoot me! Usually start the percocet 3 days before I start and continue at least until the 3rd or 4th day. Which brings me to the fact that I felt like I was going to start this week and haven't yet....somebody pray that I don't! Maybe I've finally passed through the gate!

Never have had green D before except when I ate undigested collards...don't care they were soooo good going down!

There is a connection to how our CD behaves during our periods because there is a hormonal connection....I would mention the green colour to your doc next time you see him though.

My bum is broken....there's a big crack down the middle of it!  LOL  :)

Just got my period last night and (as usual) it's accompanied by CD symptoms 10x worse than normal, as if "normal" isn't bad enough. I am so p****d off because I have a date tonight that I am really looking forward too but I feel so incredibly crappy today that I might have to beg off...this disease sucks.

Green bowel movements just mean that everything has moved through very quickly. The color of poop can vary greatly. Now if it should come out blue....
