The humira has helped tremendously as far as CD symptoms but he feels I also am suffering from IBS and after reading symptoms I feel he is correct and I rather go with a more natural approach if possible but I do not like yogurt and the fruit ones are a no no for me since I am allergic to most fruits I couldnt stand vanilla flavored etc.
dragonfly, my mom suffers from IBS and has always said she does NOT like yogurt. Until recently, that is. She was having *lots* of issues again. I twisted her arm to go purchase an organic, whole milk, plain yogurt (you can put honey in it to sweeten it if you like), like Stonyfield Farms' or Horizon's (this would be the closest thing to home made, as Ingrid was suggesting). I don't know what changed for her, but now she really likes yogurt. Maybe it's a different consistency? Maybe its flavor is different/better? If I had to guess, I would say it is far better and a bit different flavor. Anyway, she is thrilled because her symptoms are now completely gone. She eats about
1/2 a cup every day and is completely sold on its benefits. Just thought I'd throw that out there...
