This past week has been hell, if you remember my 6 month old grandson has had MRSA. They live with us and when the people I work with found out on sat. they made me leave work and they shut down the bakery I work's walmart, they suck! Well they were never in danger. My grandson is doing so much better, they say he got it from a nursing home, his other grandmother works at one.
Well we got past that and monday I started feeling bad again, I am on remicade and 40mg of pred..Went to work on tue. ( everyone staring at me like crazy ). Well I would go to the bathroom and find that I had went on myself.......I didn't even feel it at all....that happened twice that day. It's just coming out. I have had a bad cough and my mouth has felt funny. Tue. night it felt like my throat was closing up on me so my hubby took me to the er......I now have THRUSH. I don't know how much more I can stand. Wondering if I should call my cd doc and let them know whats happening?

Hi Sounds like your having quite a week. Did you get something for the thrush? If you don't improve soon sure give your GI a call.I would think it is difficult knowing people are so scarred of MRSA do you have to be tested to return to work? Hope things settle down for you soon . Glad to hear your granson is improving it probably will help to releave some of your stress. In situations like that do they test everyone who has come in contact with someone? Hope things improve. lol gail

so sorry your week has been rough! I am glad the grandson is getting better.
too bad work closed the bakery, I assume you are careful anyway and wear gloves so it should not have been a problem. I guess they were just being extra safe.
I hope you feel better soon. I have had a rough week myself and am ready for a break from it.

You should definitely call your doc and tell him about the thrush, you'll need antibiotics to clear that up...I hope you take a good probiotic daily, that should help keep things like thrush at bay...when on antibiotics it's important to take your probiotics at least 2 hours after you're done with your antis for the day or the pros will just get destroyed by the antis.

My bum is broken....there's a big crack down the middle of it!  LOL  :)

Definiately let your doctor know what's going on. He needs to know this to properly track your illness and make sure your on the right track. Plus, it sounds like you might not being doing so well, so maybe he can suggest something else. Sounds like alot to go through right now. I hope you start to feel better. Can you carry a change of clothes to work? Do you have a locker? Maybe wear pads? We have all been through this so don't be embarrassed. It's just not fun. Hope your grandson is doing better as well. Take care of yourself. Oh, and I take Probiotics too.
