Dx with CD at the age of 13 in 1989.  I am in my 30's and I have been doing well for the past ten years with only minor flare ups.  I am not taking any regular CD meds right now.  I take levoxyl for a thyroid disorder and prevacid for acid reflux.  Last week I started having stomach pain up high that is preventing me from eating at all.  Not the normal Chron's pain.  I eat and I double over.  I had an ultra sound done today but do not know the results yet.  Anyone else with these symptoms?

I'm on a big kick right now and fascinated by SMALL BOWEL BACTERIA OVERGROWTH. Google that and read the list of symptoms. I think there are A LOT of people (even those without Crohn's) who suffer from this but get misdiagnosed.

I also have the HPylori bacteria in my bloodstream. Although it can be treated and not be active ever again, it CAN become active again and when the HPylori bacteria is active in my body, I have bad stomach/upper abdominal cramping/gas then D. Sometimes it just comes out of nowhere. Sometimes it's right after I've eaten something...

Just something to consider. :)
Diagnosed in October, 2004 at age 33.

I have pancreas problems and I get pain directly after eating. Sometimes you can get stones in the bile duct, it's worth
getting it checked out...

Ps; my pain is also high in the abdomen, sometimes it can be eased by leaning forward..

Too many years with CD
Two bowel resections, several obstructions.
Fibromyalgia and recently diagnosed with pancreatitis

If we would read the secret history of our enemies,we would find in each mans life sorrow and suffering enough to disarm all hostility.
