I have that daily. I take a colon relaxer for it. Really helps.

YES I get them constantly and they are DREADFUL. I get them to the point where I have to pull over (if possible) and no matter how long OR short they are I am in tears. Their are spasm medications that you can take for this, however, they do not always work and honestly a lot of them are so BRUDAL but they only last a very short periods (if we are on the same page pain wise). They are awful and my Doctor calls them spasms as well. I am so sorry!
Not much I can do to help though but I know what they are and they are awful. You sorta wanna die when you get them and you can't explain it to anyone unless they have them!

RJ: A colon relaxer? Is that like a spasm med? Please give me some names! That is one thing I have not tried, Thanks!

Hang in There!

I think Buscapan might be one, but I think that is more directed at the stomack, large colon...or if affects smooth muscle throughout the digestive system. ?

Bentyl, Levsin or Donnatal are a few that are available in the states. These are all anti-spasmotics. I like the Levsin & Donnatal the best.

You'r right some of the meds are very unforgiving. But you learn eventually how to go about it. I have only tried 3. 1st, bental[sp] or Dicyclomine. 2nd servira or donnatal. Can't remember the third one. Didn't help at all.

Dicyclomine is what I use if it's really bad. And it's fast.

I take Levsin four times a day. You put them under your toungue and they melt. I take one before every meal and one before bed. It doesn't take away the pain completely but it really takes the edge off for me.
If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it
