look at this post they have some messages about probotics there that can help.
I also bumped it to the top of the forum for you. this med thread has been great for me.

I took probiotics in pill form and they did not work for me. I now get my probiotics through yogurt. I have noticed that I do much better when I eat lots and lots of yogurt. Also, "Naked" drinks now make a probiotic version. They are pretty good and healthy too!

lilturbo you can get primadophilus reuteri (which is what I use in cap form) in powdered form and add it to your yogurt or even just to water or juice.

I also use the Primadophilus reuteri capsules. In fact, I just increased to two caps a day recently because of recurring yeast problems, and it's working like a charm so far. It also gives me "normal" stools.

Judilyn, how long did it take for your reuteri to "kick in". And where did you buy it? I'm so desperate to try anything at this point, I'm flaring, maxed out on basically all my drugs, and gimping along on prednisone. So thankful for your reply.

It would be wise to take probiotics daily and indefinitely, flaring or not as it could very well make the next flare milder/shorter, easier to get under control and there are other benefits to probiotics as well...t i

The primadophilus reuteri also aids with lactose intolerance (which I had severely but not anymore), vaginal health (I haven't had a yeast infection since taking it 4ish yrs ago now) and even high cholesterol (of which my levels are now normal rather that too high).
