Quite the dramatic turn around for me. Headaches are gone, nausea is gone, got some appetite back. So I guess it was from my taper. Pretty upsetting because I thought I was going slow enough with 5 mg a week, and then from 5mg to 2.5mg. But I guess I need to go even slower? I've only been on it since the beginning of May, so I didn't think I'd have this much trouble going off of it. Hope my doctor can help me on Monday, to figure out a taper schedule that I won't get sick on. I don't need the "treatments" giving me more problems then I already had!

Ask for 1mg tablets. Then you can go slower...

Current meds: 75 mg 6MP. 10mg prednisone (trying to taper). Udo's Choice Probiotics (30 billion).

Yep, I agree with Rider-must go slow. Down 1mg a week should be okay but go back up when you don't feel well.

Oh yeah, 1 mg pills is much needed. That's why I'm seeing my GP for this, because my GI expected me to fully taper with 20 mg pills only! I got really good at cutting those pills I'll tell ya. But 1mg is not something I can cut out of a 20 mg pill! LOL My GI also wanted me to go REALLY fast with the taper, so I'm hoping my GP will help me out here.

Just wish I could be off this stuff! :(
