This is so strange....  For about 5 months my temp would start out in the morning about 98.6-98.8 and then go up through out the day, usally up to 99.8.  I kept saying I'd call the doc when it hit 100 but it never did.  2 weeks ago I got a stomach virus, which lasted 24 hours.  That evening my temp was 101.6.  The next morning back down.  Ever since then it has been starting aroung 96.8 and goes up through the day but it never gets above 98.8.
I had read somewhere, but can't remember where, that some auto-immune diseases can cause our bodies to have a lower normal body temp.  Has anyone else heard of that?  I'm just curious.

I was told by a doc that Imuran/6-mp lowers body temp so even if you have a fever you temp can appear in the normal range.

My GI once told me that some of our medicines can cause the body temp to be lower, and that some of the meds can "mask" a fever.
