Hey CrohnsPatient13,

I think the only difference (I could find) is that cimzia has a chemical called polyethelyene glycol (PEG), which allows the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) blocking med part to stay in the body longer which means less injections. For humira (depending on the severity of the crohn's) I think you get like 2 injections when you first start in one sitting, then like 1 or 2 injections every other week. For cimzia its like an injection every two weeks for the first three injections, and once it starts taking effect, its is usually given once every four weeks.

Hope that helps!
