Thanks guys for the comments. The pain is still here. I was able to can 21 pints of apricot jam yesterday and crashed in pain...I'm sure it was a mix of being on my feet all day pitting pesky 1 inch apricots. LOL! I got it done though.
Rootsmith, I dont' think it is in my colon, but next to it causing the pain there. I am fairly new to crohn's and am not an expert on the pains and such yet. I hope to never be.
I just know it hurts, lol!
I laughed when they told me I ahd crohn's the second time. I actually said "I don't, either". I was adamant for a few weeks and people I talked to I told them I didn't I just knew I didn't have it. I didn't care waht the doctors said, then I got sick again. I said :"It's my crohn's", my friends said "I thought you didn't have it". I had them so confused.
I hope this is "jsut" my endo acting up. My mom said I should tough it out and talk to the doc next week. She is worried the pred will help OR it will get better on it's own, then I'll still have no answers. I hate it when she is right. LOL!
Mom to 5 little ones. First dx of crohn's in 2003 (while pg with #4), then it was changed to IBS. 2/08 I was rediagnosed with crohn's. I also have endometriosis and am trying to distinguish between the two.
I'm currently taking Pentasa 4 2X daily
