The trip to the city, Humira and Methotrexate have hit hard, so I need a quiet day today. I'm declaring today National PJs Day (that means you can join in, Jo!) and will spend today doing some quiet things in the lounge-room with some videos, and I will not let myself feel pressured to get dressed until I feel ready.

* basic chores - make bed, do dishes, 7x5 minutes tidying (I got slack yesterday so the house is messy again), 15 minutes gardening.
* unfortunately, wash the central floors because my cat has just done a projectile vomit all over it rolleyes. Amazing how they manage to pick the days when you're feeling worst to do these things...
* Saturday chore - do paperwork
* Crohn's & fibro care - get back on track with meds, exercise, stretching x 3.

* and - try on some trousers that need hemming.
* add at least a page to the letter I'm writing

Reward for doing basic chores, floor and paperwork - make some more Christmas presents. Read the paper.

Bonus points - get hair off legs. Give my hands some tlc (you'll notice I've been pacting this all week and haven't done it yet! nono). Go for a walk by the ocean (not in pjs, though!! tongue )

Jo, Ch7 did it again last night! A couple of hours of football *and* no rhythmic gymnastics, even though they advertised it. Or did I miss it?

Have a good day, everyone.

So, friday for me turned into an unexpected dr's appointment where I got to spend most of my day instructing a PA in the proper treatment of sinus infections in people with AI disorders. Yes-I know I don't have the classic symptoms of a sinus infection-I take immune suppressent drugs, Yes, I know the current protocol is to not give antibiotics to treat sinus infections-I take immune suppressent drugs. No, amoxicillian (besides not being strong enough) is a penicilian drug-you can't take that when you take mtx.... So, after all of that and a trip to the pharmasy I was not in the mood to go to lab corp and have my blood drawn or do much of anything else.
I have a fever and have just taken Biaxin which makes me nausious so I am exused from Friday chores-both of my sisters and my two youngest nephews are in the area tomorrow so my saturday pact is to hug the babies.

Wow, sj, I can tell just by your writing that you're feeling terrible.

I hope you feel much better soon.

Thanks Ivy-Yes was not feeling too well today and not being able to have confidence in the person supposedly treating me did not improve my mood I finally just had to tell him what script to write-at least these PA (I refer to them as puppies) don't thinik they know everything and are willing to listen to the patient. I should feel better after the antibiotics start to do their thing.
I hope you start to recover from your trip and your meds soon.

PS-I can't wait to see the babies tomorrow.

Ivy and SJ, glad both of you will be able to rest up from your respective tiring trip/sinus infection and doc appts. SJ, thank goodness you know better than to accept the scripts the PA was trying to give you. Sometimes it seems like we as patients are the only ones aware of the effects of this DD or its meds. Glad you get to see those babies tomorrow.

I will also be taking it easy. My brother and his kids were in town today. We spent the day at the zoo. A lot of walking and it wore me out, but it was a great day, a good distraction, and maybe what I needed to get my labor going. So, for Saturday:

- Doc appointment-- need baby to pass her test and will set the absolute end date for being pregnant (they will not give me more than a week no matter how many tests she passes)
- eat well and stay really hydrated after my day in the sun today
- watch olympics/ finish my novel
- light yoga
- rest up

Take care and have a god weekend.

Currently in remission!

Too late for me and the national pj day today :( Ivy already dressed and moving. Did my chores yesterday with lots of mini breaks and survived work so for today:
Pick up some much needed groceries
pack a "shut me up" bag for my son to take to the football
organise dinner
work pm
Ivy - hope the meds settle in soon and you get good effects from them
Sj - I didnt know that about mtx and penicillen, I will make a note of that now - thanks. Glad Tucker is doing well (he's belly sounds like mine lol). Have fun with those babies :)
Hj - Have a restful weekend and good luck with your appt.
have a great weekend everyone
