It cites a successful reversal of diabetes and unspecified other auto-immune diseases in mice. It does raise a question though. The method involves using TNF to promote aptosis of CD8 T cells which were responsible for autoimmunity. This is exactly the reverse of treatment with Remicade or Humira. Both of them suppress TNFalpha. Makes you wonder if they really have any idea what they're doing.

It's definitely interesting..I hope they can apply it toward many autoimmune with a SAFE treatment. I really just like the science behind it to begin with/

Umm maybe just me being silly with semantics but suppression of TNF and utilization of TNF for apoptosis of overactive cells in the immune system seems to be the same thing in the end..just a bit more of running around. Although they didn't specify which type of TNF cells they used. Maybe on the website posted at the bottom. I'll have to check it out later.

Thanks for sharing this!!
