I know I don't have it in my home...I don't eat processed garbage...this listeriosis outbreak found in these processed meats doesn't surprise me at all...just glad that my family and myself are not at risk, I feel terrible for those who got sick and those who died as a result.

My bum is broken....there's a big crack down the middle of it! LOL :)

No one is safe in these recalls. If it isn't meat, they say it's tomotoes, or spinach, or Jalapenos. Even the dog food! I really don't think they protect us enough. Lately it seems like it's always a gamble when you eat something!
Diagnosed with Crohn's Disease 2/06 after sever GI bleed. Has been suffering since 1998. History of rectal fistula and gallbladder removal. Just finished tapering off Prednisone *YEAH*, Asacol, Questran, Toprol XL (for high blood pressure).

Safe here. Ever since I worked in a lab in a meat packing plant as a summer job I have hardly had anything to do with processed meats of any kind. It does not improve your appetite to know what's in those convenient little packages.
