Have you tried any of the other meds in the Remicade family such as Humira? I am so sorry to hear how you are suffering and your GI sounds like a idiot. No one would be feeling like this if there wasn't something going on. The C-Scope's are not the end all, they don't show everything. I would try maybe getting a CT Enteroscopy (suppose to better than SBFT) to see if you have anything else going on. Supposed to show the small bowel clearer. I sure hope you get some relief soon.

My prayers are with you tsitodawg. Will your insurance cover any kind of alternative medicine? They may be able to help with joint pain and nausea. I'm thinking about trying acupuncture to help my nausea. I hope you can feel better soon!

As with my other post I do encourage anyone that is having problems with remicade to get their ANA tested. This pain does sound some what similiar to the stuff that I went thru with the lupus like stuff you can get with remicade. So much pain I could not sleep and I could bearly stand.
I do want to assure you that low sex hormones, low vitimen D, and osteoprosis (not sex specific with the kind of malabsorbtion we get as crohnies) are not abnormal with crohns and can occur at any age with this kind of disease.

I do think pain meds are a good idea.
