I'm so fatigued all the time and get such frequent headaches/pains I'm worried to be on my feet all day. What are some things I can do to keep healthy and keep my energy up! I know I need to be careful that I get enough sleep, but do any of you have any quick Crohnie pick me up tips for when you're feeling achy and craptastic but need to keep going?

Anyway, I feel so lucky to have found a job right now. I'm so excited!
Crohn's (dx 2006), severe migraines, Seborrheic Derm., Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (1994), ulcers/GERD and possibly Fibromyalgia? Medications: Nexium, Pentasa, Cymbalta, Xysal, Yaz, Percocet or Vicodin as needed, Flintstone Vitamins (my favorite part!), vitamin D once weekly.

Congratulations on the new job!

Whenever I'm feeling craptastic but have to be on my feet all day, I stock up on those Odwalla smoothie drinks - the ones with "1 pound of fruit in each bottle" type things. The sugar is good sugar, and it keeps me going without making my gut work overtime while I'm on my feet. Don't know if that'll help ya, but it gets me through.

Good luck!

Sleep, sleep, sleep and sit down every chance you get. Make sure you stay as nourished as possible too. That should keep your energy levels from becoming too depleted.

Good luck and keep us posted!
