Hello everyone
I had an endoscopy this morning (I was having this procedure done because of suspision of Crohn's in my duodenum)  My G.I. found multiple polyps and inflamation in the duodenum and the stomach. He biopsied 3 lesions.I will be seeing him in three weeks to discuss the results of these biopsies. In the meantime I was wondering if any of you have experienced this and if so what were the biopsy reports like.It seems that when I do an online search for polyps in duodenal and stomach,it always comes up as a form of cancer?
I have crohn's and celiac disease.I was warned that since the celiac was dx'ed so late that I may end up with lymphoma...I wonder if this is what these ''polyps'' are??? eyes
Looking forward to your input! meandmyhunny2 aka Anne !

Polyps are not necessarily cancer. They can become cancerous, but there is no certainty. I would assume that they will want to remove the polyps to avoid that possibility. While you are waiting for them to let you know what is happening, you can try using vitamin C (in the neutralized form - often referred to as "ester-C"). You have to be aware that excess vitamin C can cause diarrhea, so you should watch for it and reduce the dose or eliminate that vitamin if necessary. I would try 1 pill - usually 600 mg - and increase it by a pill a day until you get loose BM and then cut back one or two.
