Randy...I thought of you last night.  One fo the few people from my area in the soft tissue stem cell study was at our CCFA support meeting last night.  Her biggest complaint was the random and ongoing fevers she has had.  I remember her from over a year ago and how exhausted she was.  She has been through the initial study group and is fairly certain she did not get the placebo (apparently your skin gives off an odor when you are on the real stuff).
Well, she has been fever free for more than six months. No doctor ever figured out what the fevers stemmed from, but the study treatment has eliminated tehm.
I'm not touting this new treatment one way or another, but man I thought of your ongoing battles the whole time she was chatting.  have you tried to get into the trial??  just curious
Dx'd '90 (emergency rupture), symptoms ignored long before that, '03 fistulas and bad flagyl reactions, B12 weekly, Pentasa [until I surrender to the bigger meds]
I'm riding on the escalator of life....

My guess would be the fevers on and off are active inflammation, disease activity. Just 'cause the doc's can't find it doesn't mean it isn't going on.
Some people are like Slinkies... Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
