I've had many pancreas issues with my crohn's, but none of mine had anything to do with sugar issues. Mine ALL had extreme pain, with high pancreatic enzyme numbers. The doctors here in NW Florida couldn't diagnose me, so they sent me to New Orleans. THey did and ERCP and measured the levels in the sphincter of oddi and found very high pressure there. While still in the ERCP they put a stent in the sphincter muscle that released pressure and all better. I've also had pancreatitis from 6 MP. I've also had a pancreatic stone removed during an ERCP, That test is a great way to look in the pancreas and they can fix things while they're in there without having to cut from outside. I'll stress that all my issues had extreme pain under my right ribs, do you have any pain? I'm sorry to go on so, I've just not found many people out there that have pancreas issues. They are very hard to diagnose, so I hope you find answers in Nov. Let me know if you have questions, I've become a pancreas now-it-all, not by choice!!ha-ha. Best of luck to you!
