have all the tests and besides my galballder not working properly the Gi seems to be more concerned about the ducts because my pancereas and liver numbers are very high off and on.
Im going for an ercp in nov but what I am wondering is if there is no stone does that mean its the duct diesese Ive read about ?  I know they mentioned my sugar way high in the hospital but on other tests it was ok so sice my husband is diabetic Ive been checkign my blood each morning and its been 105- 115 mostly today I got a reading if 133 so I redid it on another finger and got 113 so I did it a third time and got 115 so whats up with that ?  Are these meters not accurate?
Does the pancreas and liver problems cause the glucose issues because it cant process insulin properly anymore?  Is all this caused from uc or chrones ? Ive only been diagnosed for a few months but boy is it affecting everypart of my body .

I've had many pancreas issues with my crohn's, but none of mine had anything to do with sugar issues. Mine ALL had extreme pain, with high pancreatic enzyme numbers. The doctors here in NW Florida couldn't diagnose me, so they sent me to New Orleans. THey did and ERCP and measured the levels in the sphincter of oddi and found very high pressure there. While still in the ERCP they put a stent in the sphincter muscle that released pressure and all better. I've also had pancreatitis from 6 MP. I've also had a pancreatic stone removed during an ERCP, That test is a great way to look in the pancreas and they can fix things while they're in there without having to cut from outside. I'll stress that all my issues had extreme pain under my right ribs, do you have any pain? I'm sorry to go on so, I've just not found many people out there that have pancreas issues. They are very hard to diagnose, so I hope you find answers in Nov. Let me know if you have questions, I've become a pancreas now-it-all, not by choice!!ha-ha. Best of luck to you!

There are alot of areas this darn disease effects. It is rare, but there are cases that involve all of what you are talking about. Wow this is alot handle, but please continue on with your docs. Like I said this is rare. Please also look up autoimmune disease caused diabetis, it can be part of the autoimmune casade. I am not saying this is what is going on, but it something to have checked out.
Good Luck,
