Dree, Is it cramps from your period. If this has been going on for a few months, I think you should go see your GI. You could have something wrong, a cycst or something.

Hi Dree. I just posted about the same thing a couple weeks ago. You can look it up under my threads. Not much info for ya, just kow how you feel. I would definitly take the suggestion of the post above me in gettin checked for a cyst. There are other symptoms to look for in a cyst such as discharge and smell. But its a good thought worth lookin into. I have the same problem as you as far as the pain goes. So I completely sympathize. I have found that drinking lots o water and staying away from certain foods helps. Also if you arent onthe depoprevara shot for birth control it may be worth looking into. The depo shot, when I was taking it, stopped my monthly periods all together. So that may be another avenue for you to look at. I hope you feel better.

I use chamomile tea (everyday anyway) it's known to actually to aid specifically for period because it aids with inflammation which is why I use it everyday for my CD.

broach - I am also on yaz which helps with the before pains but I find I am sicker now during my period than I was on the patch. But the patch was causing me other problems which is why I went off of it.

I too stopped my period with loestrin--I take it everyday and don't take the sugar pills. Not having a period has been SUCH a blessing for me. Talk to your gyn soon--you want to make sure the pain isn't a signal of anything abnormal.

I take a birth control pill (Lutera) for the sole purpose of having a regular pain-free cycle. I recently asked my gyn about skipping the sugar pills to help out with my anemia problems, and she said it was fine. No periods at all now! I love it!
