I'm still feeling quite delicate today, so I'm going to keep my essential pacts small:

* basic chores - make bed, stay on top of dishes, 5 minutes gardening, shower and wash hair, get the house a little tidier than it is.
* devotions
* > 5 minutes exercise
* meds

These are things I'd like to do, but they are not essential:
* tidy my bedroom, because it's a messy room in an otherwise tidy house
* cook breakfast cereal
* file fifteen pieces of paper
* get hair off legs
* continue trying to expand my mobility: perhaps walk to the letterbox and back, or catch a taxi to the library or hot chicken shop, and walk home (only a few blocks, but it's more than I've been able to do for some time)
* read the Saturday newspaper
* clean my bedroom mirror
* wash the cat's litter tray
* wash my hair brushes
* write a letter
* curl up in armchair and read
* put recycling in bin
* moisturise my feet
* try making hspense's congee

Other optional extras:

* do the last bit of kitchen cleaning
* run a duster over the obvious surfaces - Tuesday's chore
* phone someone / write letters or emails
* sew on button
* journal
* start working on my inspirations folder
* do a bit more towards making pjs
* start wrapping Christmas presents / writing Christmas cards
* sow tarragon seeds
* any extra chores
* vacuum some more floors
* do a load of washing
* iron while watching video
* ring bookshop and see if my book has arrived
* do a fridge dive and find what's smelly

Sorry you're feeling unwell, Jo. *hug*

I considered sharing the recipe for the broccoli soup i made this week, but decided that you'll probably be able to find a nicer one - I selected mine for the lack of dairy & other fibrous foods and ease of preparation, rather than how it would taste, and the end result was only average. I hope that what you make is lovely!

Hope the birthday celebrations go well too.

I'm still zonked. Have done a small batch of dishes and made half my bed and washed my hair. That's it so far.

Lets see.
1 Paint my harley rear fender
2 fill in the hole in my yard from fixing the sewer line
3 start pulling the damaged sheeting from my shed roof.
4 go to the dump and throw all the roofing away so my trailer is empty for next week.
5 plan how to fix the sidewalk bricks I had to remove to fix the sewer line.
6 price a new pump motor to replace the one that went under water in the hurricane
7 plant some grass seed over ,the mud hole that is my back yard, left by the flood
8 take some time to rest from the kidney stone I passed yesterday.
If we would read the secret history of our enemies,we would find in each mans life sorrow and suffering enough to disarm all hostility.

Well I'm back to start pacting.... My first pact is to be consistant with pacting! lol
Today is a BIG day for me!  I'm going to travel 3 hrs. to go see New Kids on the Block in concert!  I know, I'm a geek! lol  My friend that I went to all the concerts with in Jr. High is going too!  It'll be nice to spend time with her and remember the concerts the first time around. :-)
I've been looking forward to this for months.  I woke up feeling good and I've started the med process to prepare me for the trip... I'm SO excited!  If I can get through that without a hitch, all is good! smilewinkgrin
That's all for Saturday!
