Loobylou, Sorry to hear that your hurting. My hips hurt every night. I toss and turn till my husband kicks me out of bed and then I toss and turn on the couch.

I have the same problem with my ribs.  Mainly my left side and it feels almost puffy.  I have no idea what organ is there.  I have had this pain off and on for months, mostly on.  Seems worse when I am sitting sometimes it stops when I stand up and then it will kind of twinge with pain.  Almost like a spasm or something.  I have no idea what it is.  It's hurting right now.
If you find out what it is, let me know and I will do the same for you.
I sometimes feel like I have pains going down my sides and down the middle of my back.  I don't know if it is bone or muscle.  It almost feels like muscles, but it aches like bone.
I didn't know if the back pain was Crohn's related or not.  I got crappy genes both ways.  Crohn's on one side RA on the other.

I used to think it was from straining to pass gas or #2 because it seemed to get puffier after that but now it just seems to be there all of the time.  I just got out of the hospital and it felt like it the whole time there too, but stupid me didn't say anything because I was afraid that I would have to stay another day.  I didn't care if I died as long as it wasn't there.
I know what you mean.  I'm 31 and walk like I'm 81 these days.
If I feel around in that area, I start to get freaked out because there are all of these little lumpy things everywhere.  I check the other side and they are there too.  Don't know why it's always reassuring when you find it on the other side but it is.  Unfortunately, I don't feel puffy on the right side.  I can tell you it's probably not your spleen.  My spleen was normal when I had a CT scan.

I am freaking out about my WBC.  It was 20,000 in the hospital when I was admitted and then went down to 15,500 the next day.  I'm hoping it was the prednisone.  I have no idea what it is now and kinda don't want to know because it will just be another thing to add to the list.
When did the puffiness start?
