Aaaaah, Monday eyes

Things I have to do:

* basic chores - make bed, stay on top of dishes, get the house a little tidier than it is
* make rissoles (half done)
* exercise and stretch
* devotions
* take meds
* pack entertainment bag for hospital tomorrow
* wear my special insoles for a few hours

Things I'd like to do:

* walk down street and return library book and pay bill
* make vegie fritters
* clean toilet
* not go to the church group... and probably not phone in an apology either, lest I encounter the person who upset me enough to trigger my venting post last week mad . I have things to do, and not enough energy today to waste on toxic people

Optional extras:

* relent, and go to the church group tongue
* do any extra cleaning
* curl up and read / do embroidery
* phone someone and chat

Jo, thank you so much for that yoga video! I did some last night and it's *just* right - it has helped some of the aches that I haven't been able to shift with my usual exercise and stretching. I really appreciate it - thanks so much smilewinkgrin .

no work today but have a busy day tomorrow for Melbourne Cup Day - I have to dress as a jockey - lol - might not make it to pacting as its an all day shift.
Ivy - glad you are getting some use of the yoga dvd, it was just sitting on my shelf so Im glad it's not being wasted. Did you get to the concert yesterday?

Ivy, I'm glad you found a yoga video that you like... reminds me that I have a couple that I like but haven't used in a while... maybe getting back to yoga would help me relax more!

Only a couple of things left from weekend that I didn't get to yet... getting in touch with a couple of friends I haven't heard from in a while, and working on my cousin's baby gift... managed to get the rest done finally. Back to work tomorrow.

Maybe I'll fit in some yoga tomorrow evening to wind down after the long day.

Jo, good luck with your Cup Day activities.

Have a good Monday everybody!

Mmmm. Yummy, yummy kangaroo rissoles. The last two broke in the pan, so I simply had to eat the broken bits :-). Yum.

Anyway, that's the rissoles done, and I've done most of the dishes too. I'm just here resting, then will putter off to do other things. btw, I forgot to add "shower" to my pacts - something I hate doing at the moment, because it uses up all my energy...

No concert, Jo. My body demanded a rest yesterday, and feels much better for having had one. Have fun at work tomorrow! I suppose if you have to work on Melb Cup day, you may as well do it in a workplace like yours. At least you can get swept up in the excitement that way. Me, I'll be sitting in hospital having an infusion. I seem to be there every Melb Cup Day - I think they must think i have no life :-)

Betsy, you sound a bit stressed there. Is everything all right?

Hey Ivy, things are mostly okay, just feeling achy and tired. If I can remember to take it a step at a time and not get so overwhelmed, I'll be fine. Sundays are never my best days, but maybe that will change sometime soon.  I think I tried to do too much this weekend... but at least the apartment is clean and things are in order.  Needless to say, next weekend = relaxation time!
