Oh Loobylou
It seems you are having a really hard time.  I remember waiting a year for my diagnosis of crohn's disease and thinking I must be nuts the whole time.
I knew something was wrong but it took a LOT of tests to finally put a name to it.
I also stopped going out because the pain was bad and I was running to the bathroom ALL the time!  Once I knew I had Crohn's it seemed easier to go out because I finally knew what was wrong and had a valid excuse for not feeling well.
I hope you get some answers soon!

Hugs Loobylou!

I remember when I had my SBFT done, I was hoping something would show up.  It is so hard when you know something is wrong and they cannot find it.  Luckily, my Internist never stopped believing I had Crohn's and I eventually got it diagnosed (pill cam).

While I was going through all the tests, it was very frustrating because things kept coming back as normal even though I had obvious signs that something was NOT right.  I had some people also tell me that I looked too healthy to be sick and that was really frustrating.  I may not LOOK sick but I FEEL sick.

Good luck with your test and let us know how it goes.  I hope you get some much needed answers soon!

Even better for detecting Crohn's in the small intestine than the SBFT is the CT Enterography. You might want to push your gastro to order the CTE if the SBFT results aren't satisfactory or still leave you hanging w/o any answers. And, then, of course, there is the Pill Camera Encoscopy to consider and ask about. Just keep pushing. Good luck and God bless.
Some people are like Slinkies... Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
