Sleepless AGAIN... eyes ... so will keep the basics short, with hopes of maybe doing a few extra things this afternoon, energy permitting.

Things I have to do:

* basics - make bed, do dishes, get the house a little tidier than it is, 15 minutes gardening
* take meds
* exercise and stretch
* medicate my cat
* devotions
* go to appointment

Things I want to do:

* get blood test
* do a few other errands while down the street
* bring in the bins
* curl up and read

* ring someone and chat

And try to keep chipping away at this week's dream list. You'll notice it's getting shorter :
* laundry x 3 (done 2 already)
* clean kitchen
* catch up on ironing
* paperwork
* dusting
* clean bathroom and toilet
* floors
* wash cat's litter tray
* wash draining board etc
* get back patio looking respectable again,
* repot plants on back patio / clear away the dead annuals
* get scripts to pharmacist
* return library books
* grocery shopping
* get blood test
* write two letters (I owe dozens)
* cut out pjs (I can't do this until I wash a floor, as the hall is the only part of the house big enough to let me do the laying out)

* tidy my mother's bedroom - a HARD job. sad

Sending strength and healing vibes to Jo and April and endurance vibes to sj; good luck to us all,

Ivy (hot already. I HATE Summer!) mad

So far I am surviving-thanks for the good thoughts Ivy.
I had to get a flu shot today-for twelve years I have been told not to get them as they turn up the immune system and this year my rhuemy insisted that because of the mtx I had to get one so since I wasn't working I went in today.
Tomorow is another 13 hour day so no pacting but I wanted to say hi.

Applause, please. I've just finished the ironing. It has taken me WEEKS to catch up. yeah

Have also been to the appt, taken the scripts to the pharmacy, and done a few errands down the street. I thought I'd be virtuous and walk to the appointment... boy! is it hot out there.

Jo, I'm so glad to hear that your foot is improving. So does that mean that the antibiotics are working?

sj, I hope the flu shot doesn't knock you too badly.

April, it sounds like you have a lovely social day organised. I hope it is fun. Can you tell me more about your church? It sounds like you do good things there. I'm one of the youngest people in my congregation, and most of them are aged 70 or more, so I think a volleyball game would just about kill a lot of them. It's a pity, because we need to do more fun things in our church.

My house is still a disgrace and in SERIOUS need of tidying. Will try to do a few 2 minute power runs between now and dinner, just to stop it looking so embarrassing. Bonus points if I achieve anything else.

ivy- I LOVE my church!  It's an Assembly of God and we have a younger Senior Pastor who's great!  We are starting to get together a young adult fellowship. (even though I don't consider myself a young adult anymore but by their standards I am  tongue  ) I don't attend as often as I like but I'm working on that!  Vollyball is open for all ages and we had some older gentlemen coming but as the younger kids started showing up, they stopped. It has been a great support for me...especially lately!  Hope you got some rest and are ready for Thursday!
Jo-glad to hear your foot is doing better! That's great news.
sj-13 hours...WOW!  Hope you didn't get to worn out today!
hugs to all!
