Colonoscopy in March showed 2 fistulas - rectal and perinum

Started Remicaid ( for the 2nd time) in April - been on it since

But the discharge from both ends has not stopped ; as a matter of fact vaginally it has gotten worse ..lots of mucus shakehead

So - I went to my GYN whom i love : -) as much as you can love one of them ! LOL

But he said deal with it .. he said the good thing is there is no infection right now ..so just deal with it as I have been ..he was able to go from one end of it and said it was pretty long .. and fairly good size... but not to worry - nono

Okay ...now is that right ? smhair   Is it really something not to worry about ? I realize his speciality is not in Crohns - but sounded like he knew what he was talking about ??

I am in between Gastro docs... one oldie who really let me down a few mos ago and then a newbie who I don't think really knows what to do with me

I think I am going to go back to my oldie and just tell him all that has been going on ...but

I wanted to confer with the best of the best ...you guys !!

Your thoughts ...anyone ? smilewinkgrin

Hi Misterie I haven't had the vag. fis. but I am thinking that you should see a GI and get the facts from him about this. Glad it is not infected but a check for abcess and bloodwork might be usefull not sure what else to say. Keep us updated. lol gail

thanks so much Gail ! Sounds like you and I are similar ... Ive had mine for 25 years ...and still alive too!!

Only one really big difference ... I am not hallarious at all... rather boring !

I spoke with my "old" gi today and spilled the beans about how much his office ( and he) ticked me off !! So I went somewhere else ( been with him for 12 years ! ) and that is who found my lipase to be over 700 !! Anyway .he still loves me and said to make an appt with him ... so I see him in 2 weeks !

Not really excited as I sound about it because he said he wants to take a look for himself after I told him what my gyno said !

I'll let you know what happens

Thanks !!

Hi Thumps up on the still alive part. Glad you have made a appointment and maybe he will send you for a ultra sound or something to check for abcess. Either way you will be getting looked at and hmm that's no joke. Hang in there .lol gail
