Hi guys,
After being anemic for over 10 years, I'm finally going to a hematologist tomorrow. My GI wrote right on my labwork to "get IV iron infusion" but I'm thinking I'll just meet with the new dr tomorrow. How long do iron infusions generally take?

I had one done a few months ago and it takes about 4-6 hours. Very easy and I started feeling better in about 3 weeks. Good Luck!!!
