Bah. I feel positively ill. Who else feels that all the pre-Christmas socialising & running around is starting to have a major impact on their health?

Right now I am sitting here, unwashed and in pjs, writing a few more Christmas cards. At some point I will have to get moving, though, and:

Things I have to do:
* basics - make bed, do dishes, tidying, shower
* shine my kitchen and bathroom "sinks"
* exercise and stretch (done)
* prepare for gp (done)
* go to gp and get blood test
* make a list of other errands to do on the way to and from gp
* do some more work on Christmas decorations / gifts
* ring library and renew library books

Things I want to do:
* spend five minutes excavating some of the mess on my desk. I don't have to get it tidy; just better than it is now.
* anything else from the wish list
* bonus for gardening - I'm making it optional because it's hot today

I'm sure there are other things I'm meant to do; may pop back later with extra pacts, if I can remember them.

Best wishes to everyone,

11am. Done the list, and the desk is heaps tidier than it was. Once Christmas is over I'll be able to pack up the cards and the craft materials and store them until next year, and then it might actually be *tidy* :-o.

Back in a little while. I might end up talking to myself today - it seems like the only way I can get moving is the knowledge that I can come back here and post an update.

11.50. Showered, dressed, made the bed. As you can see, everything is taking ages...

Hum de hum. Looks like I'm pacting alone today.

Time to tackle lunch. Catch you later this evening.

I. (it's hot!)

I feel the same way at the moment too Ivy! It's now just after 7pm and I am finally able to get on the computer, so am too late for pacting today. I cant wait for Xmas day so all this running around will end.
Hope to pact early tomorrow.

8.30 pm. Goodness, I've done everything, except for the gardening. I also achieved something today - after eighteen months of wrangling with Telstra, I finally got the phone transferred to my name! Amazing. I've been trying, on and off, for ages, and getting nowhere.

My sinks are shining and the house is tidyish. I'm going to add a bit more to this Christmas present and then try to grab an early night.

Sorry you're suffering and struggling too, Jo. Here's to a more sedate and serene Tuesday.
