OK, so Hi to all first. I dont know if y'all remember but I posted a few days ago about some hemmie problems. and not having any insurance.
Well last night, it got too bad. I wasnt eating, when I did eat something little, it came out, and that was VERY VERY VERY painful. I couldnt take it anymore, so......
I went to the Hospital. No insurance and very scared that they would be rude or something or not treat me accordingly because of the no insurance thing. (remember I am only 19) so I went up there, long wait but other than that, everyone was nice, thank GOD! if they hadnt of been I would have cried. The doctor did his little butt inside and out exam, NOT FUN(he had big fingers--haha) and he concluded that, It isnt Hemmies at all. ALOT of fissures and he thinks that my Crohns is moving down into my rectum which it has never been anywhere but my ilium.
So they did this really painful thing where they inserted some numbing stuff into my rectum and put it on the outside too. He gave me a prescription for Flagyl and Cipro and some topical stuff to numb me up, and he also gave me a 10 day suply of pred. He thinks that all that should clear it up fast. I am picking up the scripts today so hopefully I will have some relief soon. AND on top of that, I had a family member offer to pay the 250 so I can get my Remicade as soon as the Patient assistance goes through.
--still hurting and not eating much but hopefully it wont be long.....

A 10 day supply of pred? So you'll have to get more because that's not gonna do a thing for you...I wonder why he didn't give you rectal meds?

Hey PB4 sometimes a quick 10 day burst works well for me. I have done that twice in the past year and it worked great both times. So glad you were able to get some treatment in the ER. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Me too Nanners. Also, flagyl works great for my rectal issues, so hopefully it will help you too. That should be a cheap drug too. God is good all the time....one of my favorite sayings. :)
