hi all, my name is jason, i've been reading posts for months now, and decided to join the group. I found some interesting new knowledge while searching the internet for crohn's relief. I stumbled across this website and it gives info on the best ways to eat and other considerations. also, there is a great article on food combinations as well

My wife was Dx w/Crohn's in 1996 resection in 2000 (removed ileum)
Prescribed Mezavant (4/daily), prednisone (40mg), Imuran (50mg) cipro, flagyll, pantoloc, gravol, nicorette, hydromorphone (2mg) for pain, Calcium, Vitamin D supplements, cod liver caps.

So Jason, has your wife tried the product that is being sold? How has it worked for her?

£93.50 is a pretty step price for something that may or may not work. Are you involved with this company?

Good advice, but I probably would not pay that much for any one product when it could go towards food, vitamins, medicine, etc...
Interesting about the slippery elm though. I've heard conflicting reports about it. I wonder if anyone has firsthand experience with this?
20 years old, Diagnosed with moderate to severe Crohn's and Colitis in May of 2008.
Currently taking:
Prednisone 20 mg, pentasa 2 pills 4x a day, bentyl as needed, omeprazole in the morning, multivitamin, humira every other week, and good probiotics.
Surgery for ectopic pregnancy most likely the result of severe Crohn's inflammation in July of 2008.
Attempting a diet without refined sugars, high fat content, bleached or bromated flour, most dairy, red meat, and avoiding anything spicy like the plague. Also refuse to eat anything with trans fat or high fructose/corn syrup.
