Hey everybody just wanted to say hi to start out. Anyway here it goes --

about two ish years ago now I started doing very physical work (not really work but training in brazilian jujitsu) and I noticed that I didnt feel like I had to go to the bathroom but some would come out anyways. I became very embarrassed and had to stop training because a little bit would come out and I hated running to the restroom every minute to check. One day (my last actually) I was training pretty hard and I noticed a strong smell of fecal matter, I went to the restroom and noticed that it was so bad that it had gone through two pairs of shorts I was wearing (all happened to be white) and got onto my gi.

Anyway that was two ish years ago now and I have noticed sense then than I have been having issues going to the bathroom. Like I wouldn't feel it coming on it would just suddenly hit. The stool wouldn't be bloody or dark in color (normal as I would call it) or runny as I have heard some people describe Chrons as. I have also noticed that I am still "leaking" so to speak. Sometimes it will feel like a little bubble pops out and thats a good sign for me to go "clean up". For me it seems to get worse with the more exercise I do. I used to play rugby about three years ago and nothing ever squeaked out during that so I dont know how all of this started. I didnt change my diet or exercise habits. I have talked with my doctor and he said that he doesn't think its chrons and that was all. I told him that every now and again (lasts anywhere from two-three weeks) I have what I think are bad anal fissures. There isnt any blood in the stool as far as I can tell but there is a good amount (usually the size of about your pinkie finger nail) of blood on the tissue.

The other night I ended up having a small movement and noticed that there seemed to be blood mixed in with the stool on the tissue, I looked into the toiled to see if there was anything else but there was nothing that I could see. I have had a couple more movements sense then except no blood (yet).

I didnt change anything that I can remember when this started - I have always been (but not sense then) a pretty active person. I love running and hiking and climbing but all this seems to make it worse and I dont get out much anymore. Does anybody have any ideas of what this could be? My doctor is aware of it all but he just says it will pass...

could be a possibility of Hirschsprung's Disease which is a section of dead nerves in the colon. when fecal matter reaches the dead nerves, there is nothing telling the brain to send impulses to the muscles to keep it moving so it starts to back up. if you have a good diet with lots of fiber, it helps to keep it moving but leakage is common. my ex husband has this and unfortunately, passed it on to our son who is now 17. my son had a lot of problems with getting it under control in elementary school and accidents were frequent then. he's getting along fairly well now and keeps control with his diet. my ex has it so bad that he would average one bm a week and would drop football size bm's with some blood on the matter but not in the toilet. he has passed out a few times and been woozy others and need help leaving the bathroom. check available materials on this and see if anything listed applies to you.

27 surgeries, 19 fistulas,c-section, endometrios, hysterectomy, arthritis, dry eyes, migraines, kidneys stones, allergies, chronic broncitis, memory not so good, too close to death several times, too many bowel resections to count,
permanent colostomy(rectum removed was harder to deal with than using a baggie the rest of my life) but.......
...... I am no longer a pain in the butt!!!!!!!!
