I woke up this morning and felt gross, nauseous, and the guts were rumbling a lot. I get this odd thing where I can "feel" gas or BM's move through my bowels, especially I believe at the terminal ileum and end of the colon. It's crampy and if I touch where the BM/gas is it feels tender. Anyone else experience this? Doctor thinks this is IBS. Anyways...

I had that crampy/tender 'feeling' somewhat worse than usual, combined with a lot of queasiness. Ended up having one large BM followed by a lot of loose BM's. I felt gross so I only drank water...and puked it up violently, twice.

Then around 2pm, it just resolved. Is this is food poisoning? I looked at past posts about partial obstructions and this does not fit at all. I just don't know because I've never had either one before. I think I'm going to stick with liquids for a day or two just to give my system a break.

Sounds like a virus to me. Food poisoning would most likely have been more violent and lasted longer. Probably something you ate that just didn't agree with you. In any case, liquids for a day or two sounds like a good idea.
