I will be meeting with a surgeon tomorrow.  I have a blockage in my sm. intestine.  Thats why I keep hurting.  Tomorrow I will be scheduling my sugery, hopefully.  I have been hurting off and on for a while and since I'm a new patient they would't get me in any sooner.  I had to wait 10 days before I could even meet with the surgeon.  I am now hurting again and having fever off and on...I will know more tomorrow.  Keep me in your prayers.
Diagnosed with Crohns 15 years ago...After my sugery 15 years ago I havn't had any flare ups until now...I am currently taking Pentasa and the Cimzia shot..I am 43 years old..

Crohn's and UC are pretty darn crappy, but if you can't laugh at yourself, you'll cry.
I'd much rather laugh.
2001 Dx'd with UC.  No remission.  5/2008 surgery, removal of 6" of left side colon.  Dx changed to Crohn's.  Remission for 8-9wks after surgery, symptoms returning after resuming 6MP.

I'm praying you get the relief you need very soon! I am glad you are seeing the doctor tomorrow. That fever is a concern.

Let us know how it goes!
Diagnosed with rectal Crohn's in early 2007.  Several peri-rectal abscesses and two fistulae with setons.  Allergic to Remicade and Humira.  Currently on 6MP, and vitamins D and B-12.

Glad to hear you're biting the bullet and taking care of this the right way. When I had surgery for CD two years ago, I waited until I absolutely could not stand the pain any longer and had to go to the ER. My surgeon only operated on Thursdays and guess what day I went in... uh huh, Friday. So I waited another six days with an NG tube down my throat before they even operated, then another two weeks recovery in the hospital after the resection. I'm glad for it though, it made a world of difference in my life. Best of luck to you, I hope everything works out!

Will definetly keep you in my prayers. And if surgery is called for, I pray it brings you to a long long remission. Keep us posted on what the doc says.
