  newbie ? has anyone ever experienced a butt rash,related to crohns.

Hi Lyran07 and welcome to Healingwell. As far as a rash, I don't so much as get rashes as I get irritation when I go too much. Just make sure you clean the area well afterwards and that should help some. Many of us use baby wipes (w/o alchohol, ow). I use the Tucks like pads that have witch hazel and that helps to calm any irritation. Hope that helps.

Been living with Crohn's Disease for 33 years. Currently on Asacol, Prilosec, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain, Zofran, Phenergan, Probiotics, and Calcium and Xanax as needed. Orrrrrr, you can use the can at Cabelas. The new self flushing ones tend to wash your bottom if light gets to the eye on the flusher. ( see my post ,, short trip). Welcome to the site. I have a rash I have been fighting for over 4 years . Its on my arms and legs and the doctors can only say its crohns related. Nothing on my bottom yet but I have tried ever thing they have given me and no results yet. I have used Boudreau's butt paste on irritation with good results though so you may want to try that on your rash. Again,,welcome to the site..
