I have been sick all my life, never knowing i had Crohns.  I was just recently diagnosed after being in the hospital for 3 weeks b4 they did surgery.  Removed 8 in of small bowel, spererated bowel grown together, drained abcesses, had piece of intestine folded in half, and appendix infected, my bowel perforated while in the hospital. Oh the pain! i was on more meds then i can count. the prednisone and morphine with the worst side effects. i left there shaking with tremors, emotional basket case.  ive been off those drugs for a month and still have a lot of anxiety and cant sleep without xanax. i hand anxiety panic to begin with but now it seems off the hook. i have a lot on my plate car repossed, lost job, bills out the rear, and cant get around real easy or do stuff in the house by myself cause of surgery.  i feel like im going banana cakes, i cant afford therapist, i need relief.  tryn not to stress not really workn for  me.

Hi msmarilyn and welcome to Healingwell. Sorry you have to be here though. Sounds like you had a rough road there. Hopefully this will all end with you being in remission and not suffering more with your Crohns.

I also wanted to let you know that we have a great Anxiety/Panic forum here too that you might want to visit. Alot of us with Crohns suffer with anxiety too, the disease alone can add to that.

Look forward to talking to you more.
