I am currently on 6mp for Crohn's disease. I was informed by my primary that my triglycerides are increasing with each blood work. I just found out that they are now at 675 when it should be 150. My GI didn't seem to think there was a connection between the Crohn's and 6mp and triglycerides. My primary is putting me on medication now. Can somebody shed some light on this? Is the 6mp for me getting dangerous? These doctors are seriously not listening to me. I don't know what to do

What I know about triglycerides wouldn't cover the back of a stamp, and none of it is to do with Crohn's; but my immediate thought is, start hitting the search engines, try PubMed, see what you can find out about it for yourself. If you do find anything that confirms your fears, then go back to your doctors with a printout and really put them on the spot. Either they will give you good answers that have logic - or you will know to get different doctors who can ! yeah
eyes Half the stress of this disease sometimes is deciding how much you trust your doctors or medication. Best of luck ! wink
