The federal government will subsidize 65 percent of the cost of health insurance through COBRA for workers who lost their jobs between Sept. 1, 2008 and Dec. 31, 2009.

from what i read on another article the company has to cough up the 65% and the govt. will reimburse them????? good luck! i can see cos. on the ropes saying screw that and filing nk or something. not sure how this is going to work, but i need it also...got laid off on 12-31 and our new ins. SUCKS!! GI is not on plan, drugs are not covered...i need my old ins back...so i'm curious to see how this is going to work.
