Could you please say a prayer for the people in fire-ravaged Australia?

Remember those horrific fires two weeks ago? Well, they're still blazing... and in a few hours we're going to get gales that may well whip them into new firestorms. And on top of that, we're also likely to have lightning storms, which could start new firestorms.

Everybody is well and truly spooked. They're saying tomorrow could end up being worse than the firestorms we had two weeks ago. Many, many schools have been closed; we've all been warned to prepare...

I am a fair way away from the worst hit areas, but we did have a fire just outside our town on Friday, so am quite spooked myself. Cayer, I hope you and your family can stay safe.

Aw this makes me so sad.  I can't stop thinking about this picture http://cjwriter.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/koala.jpg  I hope all the animals and people find a safe refuge and that the fires burn out soon.

My view on prayers is a bit different than everyone else's... (I believe in God... but... I have a weird way of seeing things)...

But.... I do hope that things will get better for Australia... You guys have really been hit hard... *Hugs*
I think I am being picked on by life, sometimes. But's that okay. Life and I are good buddies... I know life doesn't mean no harm. It just is the way it is. I can accept that.

Thanks, all. Keep 'em coming. Nothing bad has happened so far... but we still have another 36 hours to go (they think) and they keep reminding us that things could get really bad later today and tonight.

cry  I'm so with you on the Prayers. Let's just keep God's light about for you. I will remind my friends to pray, too. We will be in danger this week for some prairie fires, with warm winds from the South, no rain this year and just begining thunder storm/Tornado season . It's hard to imagine we were so flooded the last two years. Keep us in your prayers too.

Ivy, I'm going to try this link too here, and see if it's active.

Crohn's DG 2003 , symptoms included terrible joint and soft tissue pain, just met first cousin who suffers from Reactive Arthritis-explains sooo much. Followed SCD Strictly 2003-06, then modified by adding new things 10-12 days apart to avoid delayed reactions in the form of arthritis symptoms. Scope on 2-5-09 was great! Doc says no symptoms,No scope for 10 years!!!
