Having failed Remicade and Humira I decided to try Cimzia anyway. Why not? It was the only approved me for Crohn's that I had not tried and failed or not tolerated.
a week after my second dose I started to notice a difference in my symptoms. I am a long way from remission, but I do feel I noticed a difference. (Note I am still on steroids, but hope to attempt to wean soon) My final loading dose (3rd dose) is today. The real test for me will be whether I can hold the improvements for the entire 4 weeks...
So, if you are past your final loading dose and no improvement it's probably not a great sign. but, if you can hang in there and give it a few more doses, maybe it will just take longer to work in your system. Hang in there!
