Symptoms?
Blood results?
Visaually no inflammation?

What if you have no symptoms but the scope shows some redness in your colon that looks like inflammation? And if you didn't have the scope then you wouldn't have even known about it?

Be interesting to see what people class as inflammation and how inflammed a colon needs to be to be classed as a flare...

Diagnosis Oct 07 and then Aug 08: Inditerminate Patchy Colitis. Also suffer from Peptic Ulcers could be related to Asacol. Current Medication: 500mg Asacol Suppositories, 800mg Asacol Tablets x 2 a day.

My GI never refers to it as remission but as symptomatic remission. Therefore, when I am symptom free for a period of time, even with inflamation but no pain or strictures, I am classified as in symptomatic remission.
We can respond to irritation with a smile instead of scowl, or by giving warm praise instead of icy indifference. By our being understanding instead of abrupt, others, in turn, may decide to hold on a little longer rather than to give way. Love, patience, and meekness can be just as contagious as rudeness and crudeness.
