You can try psyllium fiber, either Metamucil, or I buy the health food store psyllium , the very fine ground up one.
It is cheaper and it does not container anything except the psyllium. The easiest way to take it. Put one full rounded
teaspoon , in just half a glass of favourite juice, stir and gulp down quickly before it thickens. And then chase
with somemore juice. This is how my gastro told me to take it. I have been doing it on and off for years this way.
If you put it in a full glass , by the time you get to the bottom of it , it has already thickened, and for a young
teen , it would be kinda hard to drink. This is very safe to take everyday, they actually promote it in certain
cereals. If you buy the metamucil one, don't buy the one with aspartame, it may aggravate the situation.
