Thanks for the info I will pass it along to my sis. As for me and fibre -- I have to walk a very fine line with the fibre in my diet and when I'm able to tolerate it, I just increase the amount I eat within my regular diet -- oatmeal, wholewheat instead of white etc. But bulk often equals pain for me, and for a lot of us crohnies who have stricturing crohn's, so I would rather have low residue and sometimes go more often, than suffer the pain from a formed stool.
Still what's most important for all of us, (I guess in my sister's case, whether we have crohn's or not) is to remain aware of how our food makes us feel and adjust accordingly.
