Hey guys,
I go to the doctors this comming friday so im  excited. I seem to be getting worse, the pain in the top of my stomach is going into my back,  I feel sick dont want to eat and at this moment in time cant go to the bathroom, and when I did the other day I had blood in my poop.
I cant go to the emergency room they wont admit me becuse I have already been twice, anyone else have back pain like that?

I get a lot of back pain whenever my upper abdomen hurts. I thought it was my gallstones at first but the GI doesn't seem to think so. I have noticed though that when my stomach hurts, my whole upper body tenses to get through it which is why I think my back ends up hurting. It usually starts to feel better if I am able to sit down, relax my muscles, and concentrate on my breathing.

I understand not wanting to eat, its hard to like food when you are in so much pain.

Blood isn't ALWAYS a big deal from my experience. However, I would definitely bring it up to your dr if it is something new for you. Generally (from what my drs have told me) the kind to worry about is black tarry stool (which means bleeding higher up in the intestines) and excessive blood in your stool. I often see blood/clots on the stool/toilet paper but its not a whole lot. Mine is mostly from tearing/fissures. If you are bleeding so much that it is only blood coming out and you could fill up a pad with it...that is something to worry about.

I'm glad you are getting to see someone about your concerns, I know it can be awful trying to figure out whats wrong. Best of luck to you!!
