My doctors have decided that the best option for me at this time is to get a colostomy.  I am in agreement with them, I have had 4 surgeries in the past 5 weeks and nothing I am on at the momoment is working.  I am on full doses of remicade and imuran and they just arent doing anything.  I was just wondering if people would tell me there stories, what its like with a bag, the surgery, and if they found haveing a colostomy the right choice.  I am really looking for some advice, its a big decision and i dont want to regret the decision that I make.

Dreamer06, I'm sure people will soon come offering advice. However, here at Healing Well there is a separate forum just for Ostomy discussion. Maybe that will help. Good luck to you! Blessings, Julie
