Went to GI dr. They were ____!!!They totally blew off my high blood work + high for IGG and IGA, they said they dont believe in those test and since I have had test for the last 3 yrs have been somewhat normal, they wont believe chrons until something hits them in the face. I go this afternoon for a CT of the abdomen, havent had one in over a yr. I have been having severe lft side pain that goes under the rib and radiates to the back and severe abdominal swelling. I know I have crohns but I dont think they can find anything active when I have test. The only time I had something was 3 yrs ago, blood specks all in the stomach and petichia around the fundus, biopsy ok. I have been following a chrons diet, it's helped calm my stomach down. Depending on if they find anything this time, I will go to a diffrent dr.
For someone who works in the medical field, I feel everyone's pain for no answers and dr's that dont listen, I just know you cant give up until you find someone who will truly listen to you. Wish me luck guys, I so want to have answers to all this pain. Happy Mothers Day too.!!

I feel for you having trouble with docs that don't want to put a diagnosis on it when it is clear. I hope they either come to their senses or you are able to find another good doc. I assume by your name that you in Nebraska. Where at if you don't mind sharing? (I was born and raised and lived in the Omaha metro area until about 4.5 years ago). I saw a good GI in Council Bluffs, IA. His name was Dr. Vedhagiri Selvakumar.
Diagnosed with Crohn's in July 2005. 2 Bowel Resections in 2008.
