Hey everyone, its been awhile I know.............I just seem to plod through each day and do it all again the following...............................
Still getting the pain in my back but not as severe as I did around Xmas time.  Had Xray and CT scans finally (took 3 months) it showed no active crohn's or fistuala's, so I guess the pain is looking like scar tissue/adhesion problems.
lot of joint pain at the moment, in lower back and thumb and insides of my wrists, I'm popping NSAID's to get me through.  Had blood results back from the Lab up North, opened them on my wedding anniversary looking through several pages one page said I was in heart failure.  WHAT......... turned out they sent me the results of a 75 year old woman called Daphne.  Tagged on were the blood results of another woman, which I must say were better reading than mine, what a shocker, my OH phoned them and they said it was impossible to get the wrong results and it can never happen, when  he really off these personal details and they asked to be sent the envelope so they could check the hand writing.   A few days laterI  received a letter of apology.........this can never happen again etc etc.
My Dr gave me iron tablets which wreck my guts so i  can't take them, but I have to try.!!!!  Oh and they are keeping an eye on my Thyroid, I  have nodules and they have been keeping an eye on them for over 3 1/2 years now, (not) so all in all I'm pretty disallisioned.
Busy giving my Angora goats a haircut before winter sets in and doing farm chores, we have to make the front paddock goat proof ASAP, they are such a delight to be around and the 4 kids are growing so fast, Angora kids that is not human.
Hello to all the newbies,  I promise I'll stay in touch more often,
Tess. x

Hey GK longtime no see. I am wondering which NSAIDS you are taking? We are only allowed to take Tylenol and should not use Ibruprofen or Aleve type medications as they can cause bleeding for us. I was using Ibruprofen once and ended up in a REALLY BAD flare.

You might want to talk to your doctor about getting some other type of pain meds to help your joint pain. Would hate to hear you kicked up your Crohns. Oh, and I can't take the oral iron either, tears up my stomach really bad. I ended up having to get an Iron Infusion, about 3 weeks later I felt much better. Good luck!
