OW!!!!!!!

I'm so glad there have been recent posts about this topic so I know roughly what to do (have already got the Prep H creams and wipes etc). There I was thinking how relieved I am that I haven't had the years of pain and torments that many people using this forum have been through............ shocked I'm being such a baby about it but I haven't experienced it before and it hurts!!! I've also got a skin tag that is quite sore and a small cut (is this the same as a fissure or does CD have to be active to class as one?)

Funny but before my resection in March I must have been quite poorly for some time, and I think I would have been  more often constipated/obstructed if I didn't eat so much fatty junk food or a cigarette for use as a laxative. Now.....eating healthily, low fibre, low fat etc and not doing so well on the BM front. I might have to do the stool softener route cos I don't think I can get the diet/fibre balance right. wonder also if it's because I've just gone back to work (office) and my routine's altered, including wearing business suits again?

Hope it clears up soon - doctor said to get on with my life so I have booked a holiday to the Greek island of Zante flying on the 24th for a week - don't think a sandy beach would be good for this condition??!!!! smhair

I know there is meds for fissures now that are supposed to help.Hope this helps...lol gail

Oh, those are such a pain...wet wipes and the like do help. And eating soft food.
Hope it starts to heal soon.

Analgesic ointments work really well for me. I recommend giving it a shot.
